Based in Barcelona, Wines and Copas offers an impressive selection of over 550 wines, champagnes and spirits from around the world. Just steps from the famous Sagrada Familia, their retail space integrates the citys vibrant personality with an intimate shopping experience. Their goal was to transpose this experience to an online store to increase their web presence in Europe and ease the purchasing process.
Wines and Copas hired Stranded to rethink their retail strategy and renovate their e-commerce platform to efficiently fulfill orders while handling a large selection of inventory. Our team got straight to work, creating a clean and intuitive experience that met the needs of the client and their customers.
Stranded chose Shopify for its easy-to-use fulfillment process, inventory management, security, reliability, and extensive sales reporting. Our first phase focused on revamping Wines and Copas e-commerce platform to appeal to both experienced wine buyers and casual shoppers.
We designed the website to offer currency conversion and translation into five languages for Wines and Copas global audience. We streamlined the main navigation by reserving product subcategory filters for collection pages. This gave us room to sort products by price, best selling, region, and more.
Unlike most online wine and spirits merchants, Wines and Copas features standardized product imagery to provide consistency and elevate visual appeal. We sourced a vast number of high resolution images of their inventory to better showcase their products and differentiate themselves from competition. For locals, we provided an option to place and receive orders the same day, making Wines and Copas a community staple.
