San Diego-based real estate professional and Berkshire Hathaway Realtor® Maricruz Sanchez approached Stranded to design and develop a new web experience for her real estate company MC Sanchez Realty with one goal in mind - to stand out and appeal to a new generation of home buyers.
Selling a lifestyle is just as important as selling a home. To emphasis this point, San-Diego-based photographer Victor Schwanke shot various assets that can be used for the website or other digital mediums. Stranded and the client scouted several locations to find the convergence of two worlds: old meets new. Downtown San Diego has a mix of rich architectural heritage, waterfront views, and luxury condos.
Searching for the right real estate agent is tedious. Real estate websites are notoriously cluttered. Together, it becomes a stressful combination. To address both pain points, we set out to design a seamless experience with a mobile-first approach. Relying on our strong design POV, we opted for a clean, minimalistic look with clear and concise copy and nice imagery. For scalability and ease of use, we used Wordpress as the CMS and built the website on a flexible framework with modular components. For property search, we integrated software that feeds in available homes directly from the MLS.
